Wine Country Family Law & Bankruptcy Office
Wine Country Family Law was founded in Sonoma County in 2008. It has since expanded to include locations in Napa and Ukiah. I opened the firm during the worst period of my life—my divorce.
A newly single mom fresh out of law school with two young boys and starting a new business in the midst of the great recession, times were tough, to say the least!
It was during this challenging period that I came to appreciate how physically, emotionally, and financially draining the divorce process can be, even for an attorney!
Through my own difficult journey, I was able to hone in on the benefits my firm could bring to clients going through difficulties such as separation, divorce, custody, and child support issues.
When I opened my firm, I limited my practice to family law. However, several of my friends and relatives were experiencing extreme financial difficulties. They needed somebody to give them honest advice about bankruptcy. This led me to add bankruptcy services to my practice, filing the first of many bankruptcy cases in 2009. It has been a wonderful addition to my practice. I find great pleasure in assisting our clients with their debt issues.

What You Can Expect from Us
If you’re reading this page, you may be trying to learn what you can expect if you become our client. Here are some of the things that make our firm stand apart:
My Commitment: Real People to Serve You
I hire only family law and bankruptcy attorneys who are genuinely kindhearted and pleasant people. At the same time, they must be fierce advocates for our clients. They must listen. They must be supportive. They must be responsive, returning calls and emails promptly. They must keep clients informed at all times. These may seem like basic qualities of a bankruptcy and family law lawyer. However, finding all of these qualities in an attorney is not an easy task. Yet, these are all requirements of attorneys at Wine Country Family Law & Bankruptcy Office, P.C.
In 2016, I was honored to receive the “Client Satisfaction 10 Best Female Attorney” award by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
We Don’t Fight Just to Drive Up Your Costs
Many family law and bankruptcy lawyers make no effort to settle disputes. The more you fight it out in court, the more your legal fees grow. We take a different approach. If there is an opportunity to settle without court intervention, we explore this first before resorting to costly litigation.
Diverse Family Law Service Options
Most firms offer family law services on an “all or nothing” basis. They either represent you entirely or not at all. We are different. In addition to full-service representation, our services include self-represented consulting/coaching services (with or without document preparation), limited scope representation, and divorce/family law mediation.
Flexible Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards from our family law clients. While we cannot accept credit card payments from our bankruptcy clients, we provide an option to pay fees over six months.
We offer family law and bankruptcy initial consultations by phone, video chat, or in one of our three convenient locations in Santa Rosa, Napa, or Ukiah.
My staff and I look forward to helping you navigate through this difficult time in your life with the least amount of emotional upheaval on you and your family as possible.
